Appreciation of the fermented grape is on the increase and wine regions throughout the Cape are drawing more visitors than ever. One of the best things about travel though is trying something you haven’t experienced before.
To this end, The Elgin Valley, Grabouw offers as much uncluttered quietude, scenery, eateries and things to do, as it does dignified cool climate, expertly crafted wines.
Arguably, no place is too far-flung if the experience is on your bucket list. However, we do offer the added benefit of being a mere 45 minutes (70 kilometres) from Cape Town.
The Valley is also home to Appletiser the world famous soft drink company. No surprises there – we’re famous for our fresh produce, most notably apples, pears and grapes.
Come to the Elgin Valley. This really is the place to immerse yourself in the kind of beautiful country living the whole family will approve of.
